The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHITX-H3XK or 489XHITXH3XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manufacturers. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on older designs, cutting potential leak paths and reducing installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with or without a key. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the 442 Series. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
