The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-A3RY or 489XLAHXA3RY, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on earlier designs, removing a common leak path. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key option. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this configuration.
