The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-A5GB or 489XLAHXA5GB, is an 8-bolt mount PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with keyway. The 489 Series shares the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for increased load-bearing capability.
