The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHITX-A5GB or 489XHITXA5GB, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec -- no adapter plate required. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), and uses strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Output power reaches 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
