The Chelsea 489XLAHX-V3RA or 489XLAHXV3RA is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key accepts a range of output configurations, including Chelsea's 360-degree rotatable flange with greaseable shaft option. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm). Shaft power ratings are 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
