The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-Y3XK or 489XLAHXY3XK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to bolt directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round output shaft. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with tapered bearings for improved load handling.
