The Chelsea 489XLITX-A5GB or 489XLITXA5GB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Output is delivered through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit, with an electric-over-air shift option also available in the 489 Series. Intermittent torque capacity for the series is 201-300 lb-ft; shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series.
