The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489XLITX-V3XK or 489XLITXV3XK, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift power takeoff built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key.
