Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQAHX-A5GK or 489XQAHXA5GK, is a one-piece cast iron unit that mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The integral housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
