The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQAHX-S3XK or 489XQAHXS3XK, is a one-piece cast iron PTO that mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths compared to traditional designs. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM shaft power. The 1-1/4 in. round output shaft accepts a keyed connection. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
