The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XRAHX-S3XK or 489XRAHXS3XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening with a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the adapter plate and reduces potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec manual transmissions. Tapered bearings handle the load in place of needle bearings.
