The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQAHX-V6XK or 489XQAHXV6XK, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. Its one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series (250 lb-ft / 339 Nm) and shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
