The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQITX-H3XD or 489XQITXH3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts on without an adapter plate, cutting potential leak paths during installation. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, rated at 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. The shift type for this assembly is wire/cable mechanical. Internal components are shared with the proven 442 Series.
