The Chelsea 489XQITX-S3XK or 489XQITXS3XK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, with an electric-over-air shift option available in the 489 Series. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft; check the Chelsea application pages for the torque rating specific to this configuration.
