The Chelsea 489XQITX-W3XD or 489XQITXW3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating one potential leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (check application pages for your specific rating) and delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM at the shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Available in no-pressure lube (X) or pressure lube (P) configurations.
