The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XRAHX-H3XQ or 489XRAHXH3XQ, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on older designs, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and the wire/cable mechanical shift provides direct engagement. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
