The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XRITX-V5XK or 489XRITXV5XK, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths at installation. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power output of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit, with an electric-over-air shift option also available in the series. Internal components are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
