The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XRITX-W3GH or 489XRITXW3GH, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 489 Series shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies service.
