The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRITX-W3XK or 489XRITXW3XK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism pairs with a 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
