The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XSAHX-A3AK or 489XSAHXA3AK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions from Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible makes without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the standard 8-bolt opening and delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the series, with shaft power output of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and carries a 1-1/4" round output shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability.
