The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XSAHX-A3XX or 489XSAHXA3XX, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series -- up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) -- with tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with or without a key. Output power runs 46-55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power rated at 24 HP (500 RPM) and 48 HP (1,000 RPM). Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
