The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSAHX-W5GK or 489XSAHXW5GK, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting configuration that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft in the 201-300 lb-ft intermittent range. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 489 Series fits most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
