The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUAHX-A3AF or 489XUAHXA3AF, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
