The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUITX-A3XK or 489XUITXA3XK, is an air shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft accommodates a wide range of pump and accessory configurations. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
