The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZHDAX-A6XK or 489ZHDAXA6XK, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path at the transmission face. The air shift moves the PTO in and out of engagement, and the SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft drives the auxiliary equipment. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
