The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489ZLDAX-A5AZ or 489ZLDAXA5AZ, is a wire/cable mechanical shift power take-off designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
