The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZLDAX-V5XY or 489ZLDAXV5XY, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, with an electric-over-air shift option also available. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for improved load capacity.
