The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZLDAX-V5RB or 489ZLDAXV5RB, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), and produces up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard; an electric-over-air shift option is also available in the series. Kit-style construction and internal parts shared with the 442 Series simplify service.
