The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZLITX-A5RB or 489ZLITXA5RB, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and its associated leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, the same capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
