The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZQDAX-W5XK or 489ZQDAXW5XK, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
