The Chelsea 524XMDBX-P-XY or 524XMDBXPXY is a 524 Series rear mount Power Take-Off designed for Daimler DT12 transmission applications. Rear mounting uses the transmission's rear aperture to help eliminate clearance conflicts common on cab-chassis and vocational trucks. The 524 Series two-gear design offers three speed ratios and carries an intermittent torque rating of up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) at the series level. Shift is pneumatic, with six shift options integrated directly into the PTO housing. Output flanges are direct-mount pump style, and the housing accepts a quick-assembly sealed bayonet connector for the indicator switch.
