The Chelsea 823 Series Power Take-Off, part number 823XRAHX-A6XU or 823XRAHXA6XU, is an extra heavy-duty 8-bolt PTO built for high-torque applications including oil field, logging, and pumper cleaner trucks. It uses a lever/mechanical shift and delivers up to 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 48 HP at 500 RPM and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/2 inch 10-tooth spline with a 1410 series companion flange. The cast iron housing uses tapered cone bearings on the output shaft for greater load-bearing capability.
