The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 871XBFJP-D5AC or 871XBFJPD5AC, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO engineered for Allison transmission applications. The 871 Series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers the flexibility to match a wide range of driven equipment. The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series PTO. Improvements over the 870 Series include the ductile iron bearing cap and the updated o-ring sealing configuration. The 871 Series is also the only Chelsea PTO offering all three of the following options on a single unit: Wet Spline pump flange (extends PTO and pump shaft life), SmartStart (reduces shock load at start-up), and Quiet Gear input. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is available to protect driven equipment. Common markets for the 871 Series include fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper-cleaner, and refuse trucks.
