The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XEFJS-B5XV or 871XEFJSB5XV, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) PTO designed for Allison-equipped vehicles in fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and truck crane service. The series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty use. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers a wide range of configurations. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear input round out a feature set that the 871 Series uniquely offers among Chelsea PTOs.
