The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XBKVP-M5RY or 878XBKVPM5RY, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft of continuous torque in a compact package, carrying a single continuous duty torque rating that covers both intermittent and sustained applications. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce clearance interference, and a Positive Stop feature on driveline outputs protects oil seals from coupling damage. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Nine speed ratios are available, spanning low and high speeds. A hose is included.
