The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XAFJW-M5RY or 878XAFJWM5RY, is a constant mesh PTO designed to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch disc thickness increased by 80%. The cast iron housing supports continuous operation, and rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fit issues. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Wet Spline Lubrication provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life compared to standard configurations. Hose is included. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
