The Chelsea 890 Series PTO Assembly, part number 890HCFJW-K5XS or 890HCFJWK5XS, is a hydraulic hot-shift power take-off built specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. The 890 Series positions the pump mounting flange behind the transmission rather than at the side, giving the installer meaningful clearance between the pump and the frame rail. A one-piece main shaft eliminates intermediate input splines, and the clutch is located at the rear of the unit so the gear housing sits tight against the transmission. The SAE C output uses Wet Spline Technology to extend pump shaft life under sustained operation. Continuous-duty torque reaches 670 ft-lb, and intermittent torque exceeds 501 ft-lb.
