The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 890RDFJW-B5AF or 890RDFJWB5AF, is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD series transmissions. The 890 Series mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and locates the pump output at the rear of the transmission housing, improving clearance between the pump and the frame rail. A one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines found on extension-style designs, and the clutch sits at the rear of the PTO so the housing tucks tightly against the transmission. The SAE C ("XS") output uses Wet Spline technology to reduce wear on the PTO and pump shaft under demanding, continuous-duty operation. Shaft power output reaches 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. Common applications include aerial trucks, fire and rescue apparatus, refuse trucks, and truck cranes.
