The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 890TAFJW-B5XS or 890TAFJWB5XS, is a hydraulic hot-shift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. The 890 Series uses a one-piece main shaft, eliminating the input splines between the PTO and the output extension, and positions the clutch at the rear of the housing so the gear section tucks tightly against the transmission for improved clearance between the pump and the frame rail. Mounting is 10-bolt with an additional rear-of-transmission support bracket. Output is SAE C with wet-spline lubrication to protect the PTO and pump shaft in demanding, continuous-duty cycles. Continuous-duty torque rating reaches 670 ft-lb; intermittent torque is rated at 501+ lb-ft. Shaft power output is 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
