The Chelsea 897LBFJW-M5XS or 897LBFJWM5XS is a constant-engagement power take-off assembly engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. Its 10-bolt mounting configuration and SAE C output flange locate the pump interface at the rear of the transmission, tucking the gear section tightly against the housing for improved clearance in tight frame-rail installations. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and the output extension, and Wet Spline technology protects both PTO and pump shaft in demanding duty cycles. Continuous torque capacity reaches 670 lb-ft; intermittent torque is rated at 501 lb-ft and above. Shaft power output runs 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
