The Chelsea 897LDFJW-M5XY or 897LDFJWM5XY is a constant-mesh Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 897 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the SAE C output flange to the rear of the transmission, pulling the housing and gear section tight against the transmission body to improve pump clearance without requiring an extension. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines found on PTO-plus-extension designs. The output runs a Wet Spline interface to extend PTO and pump shaft service life under demanding duty cycles. Continuous-duty torque is rated at 670 ft-lb (908 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 501+ ft-lb (501+ Nm). Shaft power output reaches 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
