The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 897PAFJW-M5ZS or 897PAFJWM5ZS, is a constant-mesh PTO engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the SAE C outlet flange at the rear of the transmission, giving the pump adequate clearance between the transmission and the frame rail. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines that a PTO-plus-extension arrangement would introduce.
