235-1738 Fabco plate cap assembly closes a machined opening on the main housing of the Fabco TC 28 transfer case. The exploded view in our factory parts list shows it at item 19A, one per unit, bolting flat to the housing over a carrier gasket and pulled down by hex head bolts and flat washers, in the same group as the bearing caps and carriers. Because it is a plate cap rather than a plug, the gasket face and the bolt pattern are what have to match. Search it as 235-1738 or 2351738, and call us to confirm proper fit for your case.
