235-0753 Fabco spring retainer cap seats the shift spring in the shift linkage of the Fabco TC 28 transfer case. The exploded views in our factory parts list show two of them at item 18, one capping each end of the coil shift spring where the spring sits in the shift fork. The TC 28 book carries the part twice over, in the front axle engagement shift shaft group and again in the high and low engagement shift shaft group, two per assembly each time, so a full shift overhaul takes more than a pair.
