Fabco 240-85-9 spring, written 240859 when the dashes are dropped, is a genuine OEM spring out of Fabco's own parts line. Springs get ordered by number for good reason: free length, wire diameter and rate all have to match, and two springs that look the same on the bench can behave nothing alike once they are under load in the assembly. This one is Meritor Genuine branded, UPC 193174424403, sold one per unit pack. Pro Gear and Transmission carries Fabco components across the transfer case and auxiliary transmission lines. Not sure this is your spring? Give us a call and we will check the number.
