Fabco 756-0372 is the cap spacer ring for the TC 28 transfer case main housing, measuring 3.66 by 3.00 by .167 in. Our factory parts list tags it item 19B, one per assembly, and the main housing exploded view draws it stacking against the cap plate where that plate closes off a housing bore, with an internal shim and a carrier gasket in the same stack. It is a thin, flat ring, which makes it easy to leave in the old housing during a teardown and easy to forget on reassembly. Worth adding to the list when the main housing is apart.
