776-0427 Fabco input shaft is the shaft that takes drive into the Fabco TC 28 transfer case. The exploded view in our factory parts list shows it at item 64, one per unit, splined at the input end and carrying the low range gear, the high range gear and the clutch gear along its length. It runs on tapered bearing cone and cup sets at both ends, located by a split retaining ring and a spacer washer, with a selective bearing spacer ring chosen to give .001 in. to .005 in. shaft float. Order it as 776-0427 or 7760427, and call us to confirm proper fit against the tag on your case.
