S-24769-2 or S247692 is a genuine Hendrickson spring and service brake chamber assembly for air brake systems. Two sections share one housing. The service section applies the brakes with compressed air during normal driving, and the spring section covers parking and emergency braking. Air holds the spring back to keep the brakes released, and when air leaves the chamber the spring applies them.
