The Hendrickson D-36565-6LGV is a frame bracket, listed as the W bracket and classed as a leaf spring hanger. A leaf spring suspension is held to the truck frame through brackets like this one, and they carry suspension loads into the frame, so the bracket has to match the suspension it supports.
