R-001434 or R001434 is a genuine Hendrickson kingpin kit, sold by Pro Gear and Transmission. It is a replacement kit for the pivot that lets the steering knuckle turn on the axle. When king pins and bushings wear, the knuckle moves more than it should, and the signs are uneven or feathered tire wear, clanging or popping when turning or hitting a bump, and a truck that pulls to one side. If you are seeing those, a kit like this is the repair. Call us to confirm proper fit for your axle.
